The Godai Judo Club was established as a 501-c3 not-for-profit corporation with the intent of helping at-risk children. The vehicle for doing so is the Olympic Sport of Judo. The founder of Judo's vision was to use Judo to develop the human character through the tenet of mutual welfare and benefit. We believe this philosophy can translate into a very positive method of pointing the youth of today down a path toward becoming very productive members of our community. Our goal is to provide positive adult role models to at-risk youth through the instruction of Judo. Over the years, we have funded athlete travel and training, provided college scholarships, raised funds for other worthy charities, and much more.
